Please note, in order to meet timelines, this position is being posted before applications have been approved. Role ProfileThe program assistant will support a variety of projects within the After Stroke business unit at March of Dimes Canada.

  • The successful candidate will be required to complete supporting tasks mostly of an administrative nature related to : (a) Information Navigation role;
  • b) Intake Coordinator role; (c) Program instructor role Responsibilities : Provide administrative support related to various aspects of the role which can include : · Use of resource data base, research of other data bases, identifying Province specific resources · Updating various Teams channels· Updating documents and forms· Additional program administrative functions as needed· Provide general administrative and computer support : hardcopy / mailing;

respond to inquiries; use word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos and documents using MS Office Suite.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned· Assist Program instructor for Virtual Exercise classes Qualifications : · Enrolled in post-secondary education preferable with a public health or health science focus· Ability to work collaboratively and / or independently · Exceptional communication skills and written skills · Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Salary : $16.
