Responsabilités

Coordonner les activités du département d'import maritime afin d'assurer une expérience client courtoise et efficace tout en maintenant une structure de coûts compétitifs tant pour Bolloré Logistics que pour nos clients.

Tenir les clients informés de l'état de leur envoi.

• Comprendre et respecter les procédures liées à l'importation maritime.
• Recevoir les commandes clients et les envoyer à l'agent d'origine pour coordonner les expéditions avec les fournisseurs.
• Faire un suivi auprès des agents pour s'assurer que les envois sont expédiés à la date prévue.
• Recevoir les connaissements des agents à l'étranger.
• Ouvrir les dossiers d'expédition et saisir les données dans le système opérationnel selon les normes ISO de l'entreprise.
• Mettre à jour les événements dans le système Pegasus.
• Informer les clients par courriel, des détails de leurs envois et de la date d'arrivée.
• Tenir à jour les dossiers d'expédition avec les documents reçus par les agents.
• Facturer les clients et s'assurer que tous les frais pour les services rendus sont inclus et que les tarifs sont facturés conformément à l'entente (au besoin vérifier le crédit auprès du service de la comptabilité.)
• Sélectionner un fournisseur agréé pour l'expédition parmi la liste ISO des fournisseurs agréés.
• Autres tâches telles que définies par le superviseur immédiat.

Bolloré Logistics is looking to add a full time Ocean Import Agent to it's growing team in Montreal, QC!

We are looking for a dynamic individual to kick start their career in logistics

Responsibilities

To coordinate the activities of the ocean import department to ensure a courterous and efficient customer experience while maintaining a competitive cost structure for both Bolloré Logistics and our clients.

Keep clients updated with the status of their shipment.

• Understand and comply with the procedures related to ocean import.
• Receive client orders and send them to the originating agent to coordinate shipments with suppliers.
• Follow up with agents to ensure that the shipments are shipped on the planned date.
• Receive the bill of lading from overseas agents.
• Open files for shipment and enter data in the operational system according to the ISO standards of the company
• Update events in the Pegasus system.
• Inform clients, via e-mail, of the details of their shipments and the date of arrival.
• Keep shipment files up to date with documents received by agents.
• Invoice clients and ensure that all charges for services rendered are included and that rates are billed according to the agreement (if necessary, verify credit with the accounting department)
• Select an approved supplier for shipping amongst the ISO list of approved suppliers.
• Other duties as defined by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

Éducation et Qualifications

• 2 à 3 années d'études ou d'expérience postsecondaires pertinentes.
• Capacité à fournir un service client exceptionnel aux clients.
• Excellent sens de l'organisation et proactif.
• Capacité à gérer son propre temps et sa charge de travail afin de répondre aux attentes internes et externes.
• Doit maîtriser tous les domaines de la suite Microsoft Office.
• Excellentes compétences en communication en Français et en Anglais (écrite et verbale).
• Bonne compétences interpersonnelles et de travail d'équipe requises

Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years of relevant post-secondary education or experience.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Excellent organization skills and be a proactive problem solver.
• Ability to manage own time and priorities workload to meet internal and external expectations
• Must be proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal)
• Good interpersonal and teamworking skills required.
