Job Summary
As an Electronics Engineer in the Product Development group, you will play a key part in the selection, testing, evaluation, and support of electronics and systems that support a range of CBN identity products and identity‑adjacent systems. The position requires a generalist with broad interests and a particular focus on HF RFID products.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements and architectural specifications.Work closely with chip suppliers to ensure a mutually supportive relationship and evaluate / select new chip products for inclusion in product lines.Apply cryptography and security technology knowledge to ePassport and smartcard projects.Develop, manage, and implement new manufacturing processes for RF products in a manufacturing environment.Design and develop RFID inlay antennas.Evaluate, test, and support electronic hardware for smartcards.Conduct system‑level debugging, validation, and performance optimization.Provide troubleshooting support to resolve hardware issues in deployed systems.Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in electronics, smartcards, and image processing. Research and recommend improvements to existing products and designs.Documentation
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, process flows, and performance reports.Compliance
Ensure product designs meet industry standards (FCC, CE, RoHS, ISO) and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols for eID and ePassport systems (e.g., ISO / IEC, ICAO, EMV, GlobalPlatform).Qualifications
Education and Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.Knowledge of the following :
