Our Structural (Buildings) Team is currently looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to support the growth of the teams. This position can be based out of either Toronto or Ottawa.

Your role within the team

• Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications (steel, concrete, wood, masonry, etc.).
• Conduct studies, surveys, technical reports and structural inspections.
• Supervise the execution of structural work during the construction phase.
• Ensure that the engineering work is produced according to the quality standards of the industry and respect the National Building Code and Ontario Building Code.
• Coordinate projects that impact your structural design with the other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, architecture, process, etc.).
• Maintain and develop client and stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an asset. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng).
• 7+ years of previous related experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong experience with structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage changing priorities.
