What does your day at GIP look like?

• Ensures project is constructed according to design, budget and schedule
• Monitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, equipment maintenance, safety and quality control
• Interfaces with project team, subcontractors and related third parties
• Monitors and inspects project site to maintain a safe work environment and provides leadership to ensure policies, procedures and standards are followed
• Supervises, provides guidance and assesses performance of direct reports and other team members
• Interfaces with traffic and environmental teams to communicate traffic impacts and environmental consultation.
• Interface with Project Owner and subcontractors following the direction of the Project Manager.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

• A EIT or CET designation is preferred
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of project management experience
• Experience on Field management with self-performing unionized crews.
• Experience on transit projects with multiple subcontractor interfaces is desired.
• Experience on deep excavations and support of excavations methods
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced environment.
• Effective decision making and problem solving skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
