We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our Graphic Design Co-op (May to August 2024).

Position Summary / Objective :

As a Graphic Designer Coop Placement, you will play a pivotal role in creating cohesive and visually engaging brand experiences across various channels supporting MadeGood, Good to Go and Incubator Brands.

Your ability to manage multiple projects, attention to detail, and proficiency in diverse design platforms will contribute to the seamless execution of our omnichannel strategies.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, and marketers to execute design across multiple channels, including print, digital, social media, paid media, email, and more.
• Adapt and optimize existing design assets for different channels, ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, and visual identity.
• Prepare and modify artwork for various digital platforms, including websites, social media platforms, and online advertising banners.
• Assist in the creation of engaging social media graphics, GIFs, short videos, and other multimedia assets.
• Prepare files for print production, including layout adjustments, color correction, and pre-press setup.
• Supporting the DAM and server asset management.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in typography, imagery, and design elements across different mediums.
• Collaborate with senior team members to brainstorm and explore new design ideas that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Help manage and organize digital assets, ensuring efficient access and seamless sharing among team members.

Education and Qualifications :

• Currently enrolled in a graphic design, or related program.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with multimedia tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus.
• Strong design portfolio showcasing creativity, attention to detail and proficiency in both print and digital design.
• Strong understanding of design principles, layout, typography, color theory, and branding.
• Experience adapting designs for various digital platforms and print materials.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented approach to design production and a commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
• Basic knowledge of web design principles and responsive design.
• An eagerness to learn, adapt, and stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Understanding for AODA standards requirements.
