Position Summary / Objective :

As an Engineering Co-Op you will assist the engineering team in the activities related to capital expenditure projects (CAPEX) as needed.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Demonstrate and Uphold Riverside's Core Values
  • Understand and enforce Riverside's Food Safety policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the engineering team and project stakeholders to provide engineering and project management support during the origination, evaluation, vendor selection and / or negotiation phases
  • Manage stakeholders through effective communication and ways of working
  • Liaise with contractors during project executions
  • Assist with engineering trials and CAPEX coordination activities
  • Keep the work atmosphere FUN by keeping it light and welcoming
  • Other related duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships

  • Reports to the Engineering Manager
  • No direct reports

    • Education & Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering in progress
  • Passion for the food industry and the field of engineering
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel and AutoCAD
  • TEAM player with a positive attitude
  • PASSIONATE with a positive attitude with a desire to learn and collaborate
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, self-starter with a high level of initiative and ADAPTABILITY
  • Demonstrates HUMILITY throughout the company on a daily basis
  • Aptitude to exhibit RESPECT and protect Riverside's Core Values in a changing environment
