About the role
Join the Talent Development, Culture & Inclusion (TDCI) team as the Bilingual Specialist, Human Resources, where you will be the program lead for CMHC’s workplace methodology ( The Way We Work ) in addition to contributing to broader projects in support of our talent management priorities.
The Way We Work is an integral part of CMHC’s Future of Work journey focussed on three pillars of technology, space, and people.
The Way We Work is an evolution from our previous Results Only Work Environment (ROWE); it supports CMHC’s context while bringing our values to life.
It is rooted in four pillars : Results, flexibility, collaboration and a foundation trust.
What you’ll do :
- Lead the development of multi-dimensional talent management initiatives, programs and projects that have wide-ranging impact across the Corporation, which includes overseeing multidisciplinary teams, budget, communication and timelines.
- Deliver presentations and / or facilitate dialogue in different settings and audiences.
- Prepare various support materials such as presentations, communications, as well as guides / tools / training to support leaders, teams and team members across CMHC.
- Perform regular analysis (quantitative and qualitative) of various survey results (I.e. pulse, new hire survey) that support the Way We Work benefits realization outcomes, and identify progression and priority areas to address (at a corporate and / or team level).
- Work closely with the Future of Work members to align priorities across the pillars of people, space and technology.
- Research industry trends and best practices and develop creative solutions to ensure a continued focus on the most current and innovative industry trends that support progression in our maturity model.
What you should have :
- An undergraduate degree or diploma in relevant a area such as Business, Psychology, Human Resources, etc., or a combination of relevant experience and / or education.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in providing advisory support, building and sustaining capabilities, leading project work and broader talent management experience.
- Proficiency in delivering presentations and facilitating conversations to a variety of stakeholders and contexts.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written), in French and English, and a demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence a variety of stakeholders (internal and external).
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience converting analytical results into actionable recommendations that create business value.
- Solid project management skills (managing budgets, timelines, risk mitigation, within scope and budget).
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams.
- A solid knowledge of workforce practices and workforce trends that continue to future proof the organization and remain positioned as an employer of choice.
