Bilingual Human Resources Generalist
Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our team based in our Head Office in Ontario .
This position provides support to employees on a variety of Human Resources functions. The primary function involves set up and maintenance of employee profiles for the purposes of both payroll and benefits administration.
Administration of disability programs, performance management systems and recognition programs are also key functions of this position.
Requirements
Experience :
- Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources role with a heavy focus on payroll and benefits
- 3 years experience with Canadian payroll is required. Experience processing pay in multiple provinces is ideal
- 3 years experience with benefits administration is required. Specifically, group benefit enrollment, disability leave management, supporting employee benefit enquiries, processing changes in coverage, and invoicing for premiums
Education :
- Post-secondary education in the field Human Resources
- CHRP designation preferred, at minimu must be working towards CHRP designation
Knowledge and Skills :
- Bilingual Required (French / English)
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills
- Strong Analytic skills along with benefits, payroll experience in all provinces
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience
- Excellent customer service skills - demonstrated ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels in a professional manner
- Strong teamwork orientation as well as the ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints
- Ability to travel if required at times
- Experience with an HRIS system is required, Oracle would be considered an asset
