Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Location : Ottawa, ON

Department : Research & Development

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to hardware architecture and system‑level design.
• Conduct and participate in peer design reviews.
• Support the development and definition of circuit pack functional requirements.
• Participate in component engineering including component selection, coding, and review.
• Capture detailed circuit‑level schematics.
• Perform design simulations and analysis.
• Develop PCB stackups and guide PCB layout efforts.
• Manage and coordinate PCB layout resources.
• Work with high‑speed RF transmission lines and high‑speed digital interfaces.
• Lead bring‑up, debug, and characterization of new designs.
• Mentor and guide junior hardware engineers.
