Position Title : Production Planning and Inventory Manager

Reports To : VP Operations

Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planning and Inventory Manager to oversee our production scheduling and inventory management.

This role is crucial in ensuring that production processes are efficient and inventory levels are optimized to meet business objectives and customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Coordination : Oversee the planning and scheduling of production activities. Coordinate with copackers to ensure all productions are documented accurately.
  • Inventory Management : Maintain optimal stock levels for raw materials and finished products to prevent overstocking and understocking.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting : Use advanced Excel functions and analytical techniques to generate and present weekly inventory reports.

Analyze data to improve inventory accuracy and production efficiency. Data modeling, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs will be a must.

  • Strategic Planning : Participate in strategic planning sessions to optimize production and inventory processes. Assess and implement new technologies or methodologies that can enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration : Liaise with various departments including logistics, sales, and production to align production and inventory strategies with company goals.
  • KPI Monitoring : Monitor key performance indicators related to inventory turnover, production timelines, and cost efficiencies.

Make recommendations based on trends and analysis. Assess inventory forecast accuracy.

  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly those related to food safety and quality.
  • Problem Solving : Address and resolve complex issues that arise in production and inventory management, often under tight deadlines.

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in inventory management, ideally in a production setting.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent numerical and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP software.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Organized, rigorous, and capable of multitasking.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms is advantageous.

Rôle

Nous recherchons un Gestionnaire de la Planification de Production et de la Gestion des Inventaires proactif et soucieux du détail pour superviser notre planification de la production et la gestion des stocks.

Ce rôle est crucial pour assurer l'efficacité des processus de production et l'optimisation des niveaux de stock afin de répondre aux objectifs commerciaux et aux demandes des clients.

Responsabilités Clés

  • Coordination de la Production : Superviser la planification et l'ordonnancement des activités de production. Coordonner avec les copackers pour s'assurer que toutes les productions sont documentées avec précision.
  • Gestion des Inventaires : Maintenir des niveaux de stock optimaux pour les matières premières et les produits finis afin de prévenir la surstockage et la sous-stockage.
  • Analyse des Données et Rapports : Utiliser des fonctions avancées d'Excel et des techniques analytiques pour générer et présenter des rapports d'inventaire hebdomadaires.

Analyser les données pour améliorer la précision des inventaires et l'efficacité de la production. La modélisation des données, les tableaux croisés dynamiques et les VLOOKUP seront indispensables.

Planification Stratégique : Participer aux sessions de planification stratégique pour optimiser les processus de production et de gestion des stocks.

Évaluer et mettre en œuvre de nouvelles technologies ou méthodologies pouvant améliorer l'efficacité opérationnelle.

  • Collaboration : Collaborer avec divers départements, y compris la logistique, les ventes et la production, pour aligner les stratégies de production et de gestion des stocks sur les objectifs de l'entreprise.
  • Suivi des KPI : Surveiller les indicateurs de performance clés liés au taux de rotation des stocks, aux délais de production et aux efficacités de coût.

Faire des recommandations basées sur les tendances et les analyses. Évaluer la précision des prévisions d'inventaire.

  • Conformité Réglementaire : Assurer la conformité aux normes et réglementations de l'industrie, en particulier celles liées à la sécurité et à la qualité des aliments.
  • Résolution de Problèmes : Aborder et résoudre les problèmes complexes qui surviennent dans la gestion de la production et des stocks, souvent dans des délais serrés.

Éducation et Expérience

  • Un diplôme de baccalauréat en administration des affaires, gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, gestion des opérations ou dans un domaine connexe est préféré.
  • Au moins 2 à 5 ans d'expérience dans la gestion des inventaires, idéalement dans un contexte de production.

Compétences et Aptitudes Requises

  • Excellentes capacités numériques et analytiques.
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et familiarité avec les logiciels ERP.
  • Solides compétences en communication et en travail d'équipe.
  • Organisé, rigoureux et capable de gérer plusieurs tâches à la fois.
  • Capable de travailler sous pression et de respecter les délais.
  • Connaissance des plateformes de e-commerce est un atout.
