Account Supervisor

Job Purpose

The Account Supervisor plays an integral role within the account team through dedicated thought / brand leadership working towards executional excellence and management of the day-to-day workflow.

This individual will be driven, buttoned down and passionate about delivering great ideas efficiently and flawlessly.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Flawlessly drive execution processes through the agency (integrated disciplines)
• Provide superior project management of day-to-day workflow
• Provide support to client meetings, setting objectives, and actively participate in selling Agency’s position
• Develop strategically sound briefs
• Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
• Work with clients to identify key challenges / opportunities that need to be addressed
• Use strong creative instincts and develop superior selling skills to ensure best possible creative gets sold
• Accurately manage budgets, finances, and resources on job-to-job basis
• Manage coach and develop interns and junior team members
• Delegate effectively
• Participate actively in the personal appraisal process to improve performance

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 3 years of previous experience working in an advertising agency with a solid foundation in digital and mass disciplines
• Interest in managing, coaching and mentoring junior staff
• Solid foundation and understanding of the key roles and responsibilities of Account Management and a strong understanding of production
• Extremely organized and detail orientated, with experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong oral and written presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a professional presentation
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of strategies and critical thinking
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success
• Demonstrate an interest and passion for advertising
• Confident in own abilities and ideas, and not afraid to provide input to the team
