BRANCH TEAM LEADER
The Branch Team Leader works to align our Autoplan, Personal lines and Commercial teams through guidance, instruction, coaching and positive leadership to achieve growth goals.
They are solution oriented and encourage continuous improvement in the area of external and internal client service. A Team Leader creates effective interpersonal relationships that foster professional growth of their team and their peers.
The role is responsible for overall branch production retention and growth as well as recruitment, motivating a team and performance management.

Location : Kelowna, Powick
Work Arrangement : In office
Compensation : Acera’s total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance.
The typical hiring range for this position is from $60-000 - $90,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related insurance experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
Primary duties include, but not limited to, the following :
Player / Coach ability to mentor and lead team to exceed client expectations
Service a book of business in either personal lines or commercial based on past experience
Sets and trains on client service expectations
Selection and Recruitment process; workforce planning
Assessing current and new staff’s abilities to learn and organizing training, adjust training needs based on learning styles
Handles difficult situations in a calm, professional manner
Show gratitude and appreciation towards team and clients
Understanding of what activities drive production; sets goals to encourage growth
Performance management or performance correction with team members to encourage professional development
Supportive of other Team Leaders; attends and contributes ideas in team leader meetings
Communicates achievements and changes with team members.
Acts in a fair, ethical and professional manner
Competencies & Qualifications :
Strong Autoplan knowledge, with the ability to complete a ICBC Autoplan transaction
Creates an environment where everyone wants to do their best.
Level two general insurance license
Committed to continuous improvement
Strong client service skills
Proven ability to interact professionally and effectively with team members and clients
Strong attention to detail
Positive influence and the ability to influence team members
