About Us
At Tommy Gun’s, we’re on a mission to redefine the grooming industry by delivering the ultimate barbershop experience. With our unique blend of classic service and modern technology, we create an exceptional experience for our Guests and Team Members alike.
Your Role
As the Director of Technology, you will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of all technology initiatives to support our operations, enhance Guest experiences, and drive efficiency. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee a talented technology team and work closely with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute the technology strategy aligned with Tommy Gun’s business objectives.
- Team Management : Lead the internal and external technology team.
- Software Development : Drive innovative software solutions, including internal systems, tools and integrations, and Guest-facing applications.
- Infrastructure & Hardware Oversight : Ensure optimal performance and support of all hardware across our barbershops, office, and distribution centre.
- Security : Oversee data security and IT risk management to protect sensitive information and maintain Guest trust.
- Performance : Monitor and optimize high traffic applications, and safeguard IT reliability.
- Drive innovations while maintaining consistency and existing resources.
- Train and support various stakeholders with their IT requirements.
- Vendor Relations : Manage relationships with technology partners, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to budgets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with other departments to implement tech solutions that enhance operational excellence and the Guest experience.
