PROPAK ENERGY SERVICES is the field services department of Propak Systems Ltd. With over 40 years in the energy industry, Propak is a proven established leader in engineering, fabrication and construction of gas compression and processing facilities for the energy industry.
We are currently seeking Service Coordinator at our Grande Praire, AB facility to provide assistance to the Service Manager in defining training requirements for field service personnel and monitors staffing requirements to ensure highest manpower utilization targets are achieved or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities :
- To plan, direct and coordinate the daily activities of compression / process service technicians including customer calls, scheduling, creating service work orders, collection and approval of daily timesheets
- Monitor work order progress to ensure that work is on schedule and cost effective
- Work closely with parts department and service administration to close work orders and prepare invoicing to customers
- Champion service excellence, health, safety, environmental policies, standards, and process improvement;
- To be on-call, fielding service requests from our customers.
- To ensure that support of other groups and departments is provided, facilitating an attitude of teamwork at all levels.
- To provide assistance to the Service Manager in defining training requirements for field service personnel in the area of Technical and Safety training.
- To provide assistance to the Service Manager to monitor staffing requirements to ensure highest manpower utilization targets are achieved or exceeded.
- To provide a resource for project managers, and attend customer or other meetings under the direction of the Service Manager.
- To assist with the maintenance and improvement of customer satisfaction, service and product quality and project profitability, utilizing available resources and individual knowledge and abilities.
- To provide input to the Service Manager for the department budget and to communicate budget overruns / savings that might occur during the year.
Participate in the department’s annual budgeting activities. This includes recommendations for capital expenditures, and ongoing cost-cutting methods.
To participate in regular service meetings with fabrication / engineering departments as required with technical input to further product development.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma
- Have a valid Class 5 AB Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract
- 5+ years natural gas industry service experience
- Familiarity with Waukesha, Caterpillar and natural gas driven compression
- Familiarity with natural gas process equipment
- Completion of post-secondary business administration courses is an asset
- Working knowledge in Visual Manufacturing or similar ERP system is an asset
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs
