About the role
Our candidates require :
- Registered Veterinary Technician with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians
- Experience in emergency medicine is an asset
- A successful ER RVT must be able to perform well under pressure
- The ability to communicate and function well in a team atmosphere. Join our team of professionals who thrive under pressure and are committed to making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Skills and Effort Requirements :
- Triaging emergency patients and history taking
- Administering medications and performing laboratory samples
- Independent judgment and initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Night, holiday, and weekend availability
- Ability to multitask and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
