Principal DevOps Engineer

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of our infrastructure strategy, automation pipelines, and system reliability. As a technical leader, you’ll drive DevOps best practices, mentor team members, and collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and high‑performing systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Architect, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Design and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud‑native microservices architecture
• Familiar with migration and tech stack upgrades in AWS
• Lead efforts to improve system observability, monitoring, and incident response
• Partner with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and high availability
• Implement security best practices, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance enforcement
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to optimize performance, scalability, and automation
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps and SRE team members
• Define SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs for critical services and ensure reliability goals are met
