Personal Lines VIP Broker
MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our
insurance brokerage client to find a first-class
Personal Lines VIP Broker to join their team in
Ottawa, Ontario (hybrid / remote / in-office). The primary responsibility of this role will be to build, grow, and retain a high-value personal insurance book of business while delivering customized coverage solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:
- Prospect, generate, and close personal lines VIP insurance business
- Build and manage your own book of business with a strong focus on retention
- Recommend tailored coverage solutions for high-net-worth clients
- Deliver a seamless, high-touch client experience from quote to binding
- Identify cross-sell opportunities across the brokerage’s full product portfolio
You should have the following in your background to apply:
- Valid RIBO license with 2+ years of personal lines insurance sales experience
- Proven ability to prospect, close, and retain high-value personal clients
- Strong knowledge of personal insurance products (home, auto, specialty risks)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and modern digital tools
