Responsibilities
POSITION OBJECTIVE :
Managing daily operational accounting activities (full accounting cycle).
Assisting with month end close activities
Preparing monthly reconciliation, ensuring overall financial data integrity
Close monitoring of Accounts Receivable portfolio and timely dispute resolution
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performing full cycle accounting including managing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing monthly accruals, payroll, and intercompany balances.
- Conducting comprehensive financial tasks across monthly, quarterly, and annual periods, assessing trends and discrepancies.
- Supporting quarterly and annual Audit activity by proving accurate and timely financial data reporting.
- Reviewing and analysing Accounts Receivable portfolio to ensure timely collections.
- Maintaining AR dispute management system, communicating with various departments to ensure timely resolution.
- Working collaboratively across departments to ensure financial precision and recommend process enhancements.
- Maintaining and preparing required documentation including process documentation.
- Closely monitoring invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate invoice submission to clients.
- Assisting with ad hoc requirements and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Degree / Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- High degree of accuracy and attention to details
- Support Accounting with related period end reconciliations and the audit requests
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and principles including fair credit practices and collection regulations
- SAP experience is preferred
