These IPs go into various applications from Laptops, Servers, Graphics cards and customized solutions. THE PERSON : The ideal candidate will be an organized person who can stay on top of things.

Someone who is good with follow through, familiar with Agile program management and tools, and can organize the IP teamwork activities for efficiency and scalability.

RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop project plans and schedules in co-operation with the functional management team Develop and improve metrics and processes for project tracking and risk mitigation Support engineering management in planning required resources for successful execution Define and track metrics which help engineering management drive execution excellence, including time to market, team efficiency, and silicon quality indicators Work collaboratively with the AMD Program Management community to develop, adopt, and share best practices and new initiatives Defining and managing key budget and Head Count deliverables / schedules and driving cross functional activities Managing horizontally across several functional organizations, including Finance and Human Resources Working hand-in-hand with engineering counterparts across the global sites to plan / align budget, head count, operational efficiencies PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Semiconductor industry Project Management experience (Silicon Chip / ASIC ) Agile Project Management and familiarity with industry standard tools including Jira Good presentation and leadership skills;

with ability to lead technical discussions Strong interpersonal skills Outstanding written and oral communication skills Experience in managing complex, interrelated projects, programs, and functions Team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and an aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment EDUCATION : - University degree, Electrical Engineering degree & PMP Certification would be an asset LOCATION : Markham / Vancouver #LI-SL3 Benefits offered are described : AMD benefits at a glance.
