Looking to make a meaningful impact in Golden? As a Casual / Relief Bus Driver , you’ll help keep essential transportation running by stepping in when the regular driver is away — covering sick days, holidays, and time off .

This position also includes reliable weekly work every Tuesday and Thursday , driving the Health Connections bus that helps residents get to important medical appointments. If you enjoy community-focused work, this role offers stability, purpose, and flexibility.

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport passengers on the Health Connections route every Tuesday & Thursday
• Provide additional relief coverage as needed (sick days, holidays, LOAs)
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility aids
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with provincial legislation
• Operate two-way radio communication and handle fares accurately
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel / wash as required
• Create a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment for all passengers
• Report any operational concerns, incidents, or mechanical issues promptly
