Job Description
We are looking for a senior business consultant to work on one of our capital markets projects, the BA will work in close partnership with ambitious business stakeholders and technology teams on a broad range of initiatives varying in risk, size and complexity.
- Working with Product Owner to create / update / refine User Stories
- Gathering and clarifying business requirements with business stakeholders
- Using monitoring tools to manage applications and respond to business / technical alerts raised
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close
- Supports development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into tangible business requirements.
- Experience in performing rules impact assessment and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address rule ambiguities and regulatory compliance issues.
Qualifications
- Experience with MiFID I or II rules implementation
- Extensive experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, field mappings and transformation rules
- Familiarity with documenting traceability matrix from regulatory rules to business requirements
- Good understanding of financial instruments in scope for MiFID regulation : OTC Derivatives, Exchange traded Derivatives, Repurchase agreements.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in regulatory reporting and compliance documentation.
- Ability to quickly adapt to regulatory changes and document requirements to reflect these changes.
- Desire to continuously learn and stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc).
