Job Description : Description

The individual chosen for this position will be a member of an engineering team responsible for testing and validating firmware, hardware and software in a Laboratory. This individual will be executing RF test plans to prove system performance. The engineer will process data and prepare reports. She / He will troubleshoot and run setup validation tests to guarantee accuracy and repeatability. The successful candidate will be an effective problem solver and a proactive process owner.

Responsibilities

• Verify new firmware and test solutions before releasing to production
• Improve process quality and reliability
• Perform statistical studies to validate process capability
• Establish optimum process and provide support to train test team
• Analyze test data and prepare report
• Support in standardizing test benches across multiple sites
• Validate setups by comparing setup performance to a standard
• Troubleshoot RF Test setups to keep the production flowing
• Lead and / or participate in cross-functional teams to support engineering test projects
• Develop new techniques to streamline test process

Required Experience and Skills

The typical base pay range for this role is currently CAD$101,700 -$173,800. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
