We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
As a member of the Production team, as a Training Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of a training center or facility.
This role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating training programs, staff, and resources to ensure a successful and efficient learning environment.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Your responsibilities will include :
- Hire and provide leadership to technical personnel required to develop and deliver training programs and ensure trainer certifications are maintained up-to-date.
- Ensure timely identification, procurement, installation and qualification of all required equipment and technologies necessary to deliver training programs.
- Develop and maintain Training Center capacity models and drive long term plans to ensure the Training Center is well situated to meet graduation targets.
- Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop training courses and programs that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with Talent and Operations stakeholders to ensure a seamless and enjoyable candidate experience from initial onboarding through training and graduation.
- Define progress review intervals for Training Center candidates and ensure reviews and necessary follow-up are conducted in a timely manner.
- Continuously monitor individual and organizational performance and training program metrics, and consult with stakeholders to improve training effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensure that training instructors and candidates follow all workplace safety requirements.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or technical background), Education, Leadership and Management or a related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant leadership and management experience.
- Proven track record developing and implementing training programs and systems.
- In-depth knowledge of current training methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as ISO 13485 or AS9100 is an asset.
- Flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as required.
Compensation
Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting.
Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs.
For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.
As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.
$100,000 130,000 (CAD Annually)
The total cash we’ve listed for this position includes a base salary, plus a contribution to a Registered Retirement Savings plans (RRSP) to help support your financial goals.
