We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Production Financial Analyst in Vancouver, British Columbia. The position includes a combination of onsite and remote work. As a Sr. Production Financial Analyst, you will be deeply involved in production and finance, with a focus on reporting and maintaining daily operations.
Responsibilities :
- Providing detailed financial analysis and reports for tax credits and rebates to manage costs associated with labor, unions, and projects
- Conducting monthly reconciliations of tax credits in multiple locations
- Regularly updating rate cards
- Handling a variety of tasks that change from week to week, requiring strong technical skills
- Processing accurate and efficient customer credit applications
- Maintaining precise customer credit records
- Monitoring customer accounts and carrying out necessary actions
- Utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage rate cards and perform ad hoc analysis
- Using SAP ERP for various tasks
- Applying knowledge of the film production industry to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a crucial requirement for this role.
- Experience in film production is highly desirable.
- The candidate should be adept at Ad Hoc Analysis and Ad Hoc Financial Analysis.
- Knowledge about Rebate, Tax Credit, and Cost Analysis is required.
- The role requires experience in conducting Reconciliations.
- Proficiency in using SAP software is a plus.
- The applicant should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- The candidate should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
