We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Production Financial Analyst in Vancouver, British Columbia. The position includes a combination of onsite and remote work. As a Sr. Production Financial Analyst, you will be deeply involved in production and finance, with a focus on reporting and maintaining daily operations.

Responsibilities :

• Providing detailed financial analysis and reports for tax credits and rebates to manage costs associated with labor, unions, and projects
• Conducting monthly reconciliations of tax credits in multiple locations
• Regularly updating rate cards
• Handling a variety of tasks that change from week to week, requiring strong technical skills
• Processing accurate and efficient customer credit applications
• Maintaining precise customer credit records
• Monitoring customer accounts and carrying out necessary actions
• Utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage rate cards and perform ad hoc analysis
• Using SAP ERP for various tasks
• Applying knowledge of the film production industry to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a crucial requirement for this role.
• Experience in film production is highly desirable.
• The candidate should be adept at Ad Hoc Analysis and Ad Hoc Financial Analysis.
• Knowledge about Rebate, Tax Credit, and Cost Analysis is required.
• The role requires experience in conducting Reconciliations.
• Proficiency in using SAP software is a plus.
• The applicant should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• The candidate should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
