Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and execute for various asset deliverables (print and digital) for Brand and Commercial campaigns and corporate communications
• Be a champion of CG’s brand guidelines, and ensure all internal and external collateral follows them on all platforms / media, with special attention to digital
• Collaborate closely with art directors and to create a consistent and cohesive brand experience
• Able to work and deliver on tight timelines with consistency and exemplary attention to detail
• Have a detailed eye for colour, design, and refined typography
• Communicate design work to a cross-functional team with clarity and iterating on feedback quickly
• A deep understanding and passion for elevated graphic design and advertising
• Inspire and mentor junior teams’ members to reach their full potential and produce the best work possible by adapting to each individuals’ style of communication and motivations

KEY SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of design experience in a creative studio environment
• Degree in graphic design or related field
• Meticulous attention to detail and refined design
• Passion for fashion and luxury brands a plus
• Highly proficient with Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma, motion graphics (e.g. Premier, After Effects) a plus
• Great communication skills ability to effectively articulate design decisions to internal teams.
• Experience with working on cross-functional projects
• An active team collaborator in the creative development process to improve our team practices
• Strong communicator that plays an active role in critiques, reviews, and discussions and is an equally good listener to hear other points of view to build assets together
• An exceptional eye for detail, strong organizational skills and a system-oriented mindset
• Enjoys mentoring younger designers and is committed to their career development at Canada Goose
