The Opportunity

• Lead the assessment, preservation and adaptive reuse of historic and heritage structures, applying technical expertise and creative problem‑solving to deliver innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute a dynamic go‑to‑market strategy aimed at expanding Arup’s structural and heritage practice in Ottawa.
• Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with clients, architects and industry partners, strengthening Arup’s presence in the market.
• Support the growth of the SMEP team in Ottawa, including mentoring and developing junior staff.
• Lead and contribute to high‑profile projects, ensuring seamless multidisciplinary coordination and technical excellence.
• Partner with the Ottawa Office Leader on GTM initiatives and business‑development activities.
• Help position Arup as a leader in heritage and conservation work across the province.

Ottawa hiring range – The good‑faith base‑salary range for this role in Ottawa is CAD $174,000 to CAD $200,000. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note that hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Ottawa will differ.
