Systems Engineering Project Coordinator - Buildings
About the Role :
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Systems, the Systems Engineering Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting Mechanical and Electrical (MEP) Project Managers with the systems components of construction projects.
This incumbent will coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with design and construction deliverables and materials.
As a Systems Engineering Project Coordinator at Graham, you will :
- Monitor and collaborate Systems design submittals from vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate PICO test procedures and reports.
- Review the progress of Systems related Requests for Information (RFI’s), Field Modification Instructions (FMI’s), Work Method Statements (WMS’s).
- Update schedules and budgets, maintain cost control, and monitor labor material and equipment activities.
- Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to update project schedule and budget.
- Monitor project change management process, identifying change events, submitting change notices, and tracking changes.
- Assist with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions and change orders.
- Assist in gathering data required for input of regular status reports for company executives and project steering committees.
- Monitor cost accruals and reviews on a regular basis.
- Build effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups.
Qualifications / Experience :
- Completion of an Electrical or Telecommunications related Degree or Diploma.
- 5+ years of Project Coordination and / or Systems Engineering experience.
- Experience with Transit Instrumentation and Controls is preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Excel, Primavera, OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam or BIM modelling are assets.
- Strong organizational and team collaboration skills.
Compensation :
- $68,000 - $102,300 per annum
- Salary will commensurate with experience

- 3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year, with credit for prior industry experience
