Responsibilities

What YOU will be doing as a MIG Welder in Pickering / Durham region :

• Custom metal fabrication
• Prepare jigs / setups for welding
• Operate bandsaws, overhead cranes, grinders, drills and beveller
• Work with heavy metal up to 5 inches thick
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout

Qualifications

What YOU bring to the role of Welder in Pickering / Durham region :

• Valid CWB ticket (MIG) or recently expired is an asset
• MIG, TIG and Sub Arc experience preferred
• Experience with heavy materials
• Fitting experience is ideal
• Ability to understand and interpret drawings and blueprints
• Able to work independently and self-motivated
