Senior Administrative Assistant
Regular Full-time
Duties : Reporting to the Dean of Innovation for Teaching and Learning this position focuses on administrative support to the functional units in the department including the Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, eLearning (COTROnline), the Learning Commons, Production Support Centre, and Program Review processes. This position is responsible for the day-to-day support of the Innovation in Teaching and Learning portfolio and assists with the coordination of activities and events of the departmental units. This position is also responsible for providing direct administrative support to committees as directed by the Dean.
Qualifications : The ideal candidate will hold an Office Administration Certificate and have a minimum of three years of experience in a senior administrative assistant role. Strong judgment, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills are essential, along with excellent time and project management abilities to manage multiple complex initiatives. Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required, as well as familiarity with Management Information Systems. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional presentation, technical writing, and verbal communication skills, combined with strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service capabilities. Experience working respectfully with diverse populations and practicing cultural humility is highly valued.

Salary : Position# 204
CUPE Pay Level with a starting wage of $50,468.60 per year, with increments progressing to Step 5 as per the CUPE Collective Agreement. The College also offers a comprehensive range of benefits, including a defined pension, generous vacation entitlements, health and dental plans, and more.
