JOB DESCRIPTION :

Technical Desktop Support is responsible for administering service desk requests and resolving all single desktop issues as well as select multi-use issues.

RESPONSABILITIES :

  • Manage the service desk office.
  • Provide phone support via the service desk hotline.
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 Products (Skype for Business, Ms Teams, SharePoint, Office)
  • Active Directory user account management
  • Installation and configuration of desktop software
  • Cisco VPN user administration
  • Asset Management Coordinator work with the current systems to keep an accurate record of I.T assets.
  • Order I.T supplies computers, toner, printers, and accessories.
  • Build images for new client machines.
  • Software Build and configure client machine for new and existing users.
  • Phone system user setup.
  • SQL Server administrator
  • Exchange Online administrator
  • Vmware Administrator
  • Data Backup administrator : use existing data back-ups to restore user files as requested.
  • Mobile phone support
  • Reimaging computers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Bachelor’s degree or College Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and or / Dynamics 365 administration
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain management
  • SQL Server administration experience
  • Experience with imaging and OS deployment processes
  • Experience with data / server backup solutions

WORKING CONDITIONS :

  • Office environment, photocopiers, printers, etc.
  • Manufacturing plant environment
  • Lift Lifting
  • Travel to The Central Group of Companies locations.
