Position : IT Support Technician

Shift : Flexible to any shift
Weekend Rotation
On-call Rotation : Approximately once every 2 months
About the Role :
Are you an IT professional with expertise in troubleshooting both hardware and software ? We’re looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team at a large commercial facility. In this role, you will handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both network hardware and software systems . You’ll also work with advanced cabling technologies, including fiber optics, to ensure seamless operations.
What You'll Do :
Install and troubleshoot low voltage cabling (cat5, cat6) and fiber optics infrastructure
Provide technical support for hardware and software installations and updates
Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues, including devices and servers
Work as part of the on-call rotation (once every 5-7 weeks) to handle urgent tech support needs
Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends, ensuring uptime and reliability
What You Bring :
3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting and installing both hardware and software systems
Proficiency in low voltage cabling (cat5, cat6) and fiber optic infrastructure
Expertise in supporting and troubleshooting network infrastructure and software systems
Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
