Job Description
The House of Commons’ Procedural Services is currently looking to create a pool of candidates for anticipatory staffing of the Business Application Support Officer. As part of this team, you will be responsible for providing functional first-line desktop, information management and application support to users working with Procedural Services business systems. This includes identifying, analysing, troubleshooting and resolving problems with business applications, as well as offering training and coaching to Procedural Services’ staff and related groups. Responsibilities also include managing software, hardware and access permissions to the network. The Business Application Support Officer also participates in the planning, development, testing and deployment of new hardware/software, applications, initiatives, and defect fixes and enhancements.
