Work where the world comes to think, discover and learn. As an important member of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine Office of Advancement and development team, you play a tangible role in shaping and advancing the future of health and healthcare.
As a member of the Annual and Leadership Giving fundraising team, you will independently lead the development and management of a portfolio of donors and projects below the $49,999 level, and you will also work closely with the extended advancement team to support additional gift opportunities, using your strong relationship building, projectmanagement and communication skills.
You will be an important member of a broader community of sophisticated fundraisers at the University of Toronto, where staff aspire to the highest standards of achievement and accountability for advancement professionals.

Your responsibilities will include :
- Developing and managing a portfolio of donors and projects below the $49,999 level by engaging in prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and recognition
- Working with volunteers and donors on peer to peer and tribute giving campaigns
- Building successful relationships with prospective and current donors that lead to philanthropic investment
- Aligning institutional priorities with donor interests and developing strategies that ensure a strong and sustainable donor pipeline
- Developing tailored and compelling fundraising opportunities that support institutional priorities
- Building strong relationships within the Advancement team and across the university, and contributing to a culture of collegiality and collaboration
- Reviewing and managing large segments of data to build, maintain and segment portfolio
- Writing briefing notes, solicitation plans and call reports to track donor interaction and tracking and assessing progress towards goals by producing complex donor reports, tracking and monitoring donations received against donations pledged and verifying accuracy and completeness of information
