Are you a creative, hands-on visual storyteller? We're seeking a Marketing Videographer & Photographer with a dynamic personality and a drive to reach decision-makers and build relationships.

About the role:

Reporting to the Design Strategist, Team Lead, the Marketing Videographer & Photographer is responsible for owning and elevating our visual content strategy across photo and video. This role leads the full production lifecycle, ensuring all content is visually compelling, on-brand, and aligned with marketing and sales initiatives.

Location:

Acton, Ontario. This role requires onsite presence for filming and photography. There may be an opportunity for some remote work as pre and post production work may be completed remotely depending on project needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to plan and prioritize visual content aligned with campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives
  • Translate briefs into creative concepts, shot lists, and production plans
  • Lead end-to-end production including pre-production, filming, and post-production
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content for product marketing, brand storytelling, social media, and internal communications
  • Direct shoots including lighting, composition, and talent guidance
  • Edit video content (short-form, long-form, and campaign-based) and retouch photography assets
  • Optimize content for various platforms including web, social, and print
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and visual standards
  • Organize and manage a centralized visual asset library with proper naming and tagging conventions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and product teams
  • Provide creative direction and feedback on visual storytelling across projects
  • Mentor and support team members newer to video production
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices
  • Occasional travel may be required for on-location shoots

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in videography and photography or a similar role
  • Post-secondary education in film, video, photography, graphic design, or a related field is required
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Lightroom)
  • Experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment
  • Strong understanding of color grading, sound design, and post-production workflows
  • Proven ability to create content for multiple platforms, especially social-first formats
  • Experience planning and coordinating shoots including budgeting and scheduling
  • Strong eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Comfortable both taking direction and leading creative decisions
  • Experience in product or industrial photography and/or motion graphics or animation skills is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems is considered an asset
