Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to lead end-to-end human-centered UX research, service design, and digital experience creation for complex enterprise platforms. In this role, you will transform business requirements, user insights, and complex operational needs into intuitive, accessible, and user-centered digital solutions. Working within a collaborative Agile delivery framework, you will lead user research, stakeholder workshops, usability testing, and design validation while creating user journeys, service blueprints, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that strictly adhere to accessibility standards and design system guidelines.

Location: Toronto, ON (Fully Onsite – 5 days/week required)

Duration: 6-month contract.

Advantages

Modern Tooling & Frameworks: Hands-on creation using Figma, Azure DevOps, and enterprise design system standards.

Complex Service Design: Solve intricate workflow challenges through journey mapping, service blueprints, and interactive prototypes.

Dedicated Onsite Collaboration: Work alongside product leads, business analysts, and engineering teams in a focused 5-day onsite workspace.

Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, including user interviews, co-design workshops, surveys, and usability tests, translating findings into actionable design insights.

Create comprehensive design artifacts, including personas, customer journey maps, service blueprints, information architecture maps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes in Figma.

Design accessible and intuitive digital interfaces by applying human-centered design principles, digital design system guidelines, and strict AODA / WCAG accessibility standards.

Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional Agile teams to align business objectives with end-user needs.

Establish UX performance metrics, conduct continuous usability evaluations, and provide strategic advisory on digital experience standards and service design best practices.

Facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions, synthesize requirements, manage design backlogs in Azure DevOps, and support sprint planning and user acceptance activities.

Qualifications

End-to-End Design & Prototyping: Proven experience creating personas, user journeys, service blueprints, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using Figma (Strictly Required).

Design System & Accessibility Standards: Hands-on experience aligning digital solutions with established public design systems and accessibility requirements (AODA / WCAG 2.0 AA) (Strictly Required).
