The Quality Assurance Advisor ensures that developed functionalities reflect the business rules and specifications expressed by clients. They also ensure that Croesus products (desktop, web, APIs, Central,...) comply with industry norms and standards in terms of security, performance, and accessibility. To accomplish this mission, they collaborate closely with the DevOps teams and act as a quality reference for these teams. They must ensure that the requested functionalities are coherent and testable and identify the most critical areas of the software.

Main Responsibilities

  • "Shift Left" Strategy: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and client representatives (internal and/or external) from the design phase to define clear acceptance criteria.
  • Intelligent Automation: Design, write, and maintain test scripts (UI and API) to transform manual tests into robust automated suites.
  • CI/CD Chain Maintenance: Integrate tests into the CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment chain) to ensure immediate feedback to developers.
  • Client Specificity Management: Create datasets and test configurations simulating our clients' real-world environments.
  • Quality Mentorship: Support developers in improving their unit tests and code testability.
  • Performance Testing: Establish and manage the strategy for performance, load, and stress testing to guarantee the scalability and responsiveness of our solutions.

Mandatory: Professional working proficiency in French.

Academic Background & Experience

  • College degree in software quality assurance, software development, or any other related field;
  • 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and/or in the design, automation, and execution of test scenarios/cases;
  • Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java);
  • Solid experience with modern tools (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium);
  • Ability to test backend services (Postman, RestAssured, Pytest);
  • Proficiency in performance and load testing tools (such as JMeter, Locust, loadster);
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker);
  • Proficiency in BDD (Behavior Driven Development) with Cucumber/Gherkin (asset);
  • Knowledge of test case management tools (such as Xray) and anomaly management tools (such as Jira);
  • Good knowledge of SQL/MySQL;
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology.
