AFL Network Services Canada (AFL NSC) is a leader in the telecommunications landscape, providing engineering, construction and field services for telecommunications and utility service providers across the country. The business is a division of Fujikura Ltd., a global leader in manufacturing cable and connectivity products, specializing in fiber optics. Employing over 550 individuals in Canada, AFL has developed a strong reputation for delivering quality services and networks, prioritizing excellent health and safety practices, and adhering to a customer-first philosophy that ensures projects of all sizes are delivered safely, on budget and on time.
The Vice President, Market Development & Client Success (VP, MDCS) is a key leadership position within AFL, responsible for driving exceptional client satisfaction and operational excellence across the Field Services division. As the VP, MDCS you would be a member of the AFL NSC Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and report directly to the President. Experience managing a P&L, performing customer profitability analyses, and leading large, distributed teams in industries such as telecommunications, construction or utilities is strongly preferred. Familiarity with customer satisfaction metrics, governance reporting and joint venture operations is an asset.
This position will be based in either Surrey, British Columbia or Calgary, Alberta. AFL NSC offers a hybrid work option (3-4 days in office) and requires travel approximately 25% of the time, mainly throughout Western Canada. The compensation for this role is in the range of $230,000 plus a bonus.
