Job descriptionYou assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately. You answer patient’s questions and ensure the best service. You work closely with Optometrists. You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients. You update the appointment system after every patient’s consultation. You confirm by phone post-operative appointments. You have excellent communication skills in English. You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust. You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset). You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex : optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.). Schedule : You have flexible work availability Monday, Wednesday & Friday (8 : 00 am-4 : 30 pm), Tuesdays (9 : 00am-5 : 30pm) and Thursdays (7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm).
