Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Clinical Business Analysts to support a major healthcare transformation initiative focused on standardizing and integrating clinical documentation and workflows into a unified Clinical Information Solution (CIS). This role will play a key part in designing and implementing province-wide clinical standards, including order sets and documentation templates used by physicians, nurses, and other frontline healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in clinical informatics, healthcare operations, and CIS / EHR implementation projects, with proven experience in gathering business requirements, facilitating workshops, conducting gap analyses, and producing detailed design documentation. Bilingual communication skills in French and English are strongly preferred, as is experience working within public health environments. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the future of healthcare delivery by enabling consistency, quality, and efficiency across clinical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
  • Conducting gap analyses and developing detailed design documents.
  • Facilitating workshops with clinical stakeholders to validate and refine requirements.
  • Collaborating with clinicians and project teams to design standardized order sets, documentation templates, and workflows.
  • Creating and maintaining process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Supporting the smooth implementation and adoption of clinical standards across multiple healthcare settings.
  • Qualifications

  • A university degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience as a Clinical Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst focused on requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, process analysis, and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Health Information Systems (EHR / CIS) and healthcare operations.
  • Direct involvement in CIS implementation or similar large-scale healthcare IT projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills; bilingualism in French and English is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams) and experience using JIRA.
  • Previous work within public health environments is an asset.
