  • Define and execute hardware/firmware functional test plans and validation strategies
  • Own development of embedded firmware in C for internal microcontrollers
  • Debug and support IP hardware and firmware issues discovered during pre‑silicon, silicon bring‑up, validation, and production phases
  • Lead cross‑functional technical discussions to drive issue resolution and alignment
  • Own development of testing frameworks and utility software using Python
  • Drive technical innovation to enhance AMD’s IP and firmware validation capabilities, tools, and processes

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with embedded firmware, low‑level software, and post‑silicon validation
  • Strong proficiency in C, assembly, and scripting languages
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and apply new technical concepts
  • Extensive experience with IP‑ and system‑level bring‑up and ASIC debug methodologies
  • Hands‑on experience with System Management and Power Management subsystems
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast‑paced, collaborative team environment
  • Self‑starter with the ability to independently own and drive tasks to completion

ASSETS
