Planit Green Landscapes is a premier landscaping company dedicated to creating and maintaining high-end residential outdoor spaces in Brantford, ON. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and delivering professional service to discerning clients. As a Maintenance Lead Hand, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients' properties are maintained to the highest standards, supporting the Foreman and contributing to the success of our team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain high-end residential properties to exceptional standards
  • Prune and manicure shrubs, gardens, and outdoor spaces
  • Assist the Foreman in coordinating daily maintenance activities
  • Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and professionally presented
  • Operate landscaping equipment and tools efficiently
  • Provide strong customer service when interacting with clients
  • Work toward meeting and exceeding daily and seasonal targets

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of landscape maintenance experience, including maintaining high-end residential properties
  • 3+ years of experience operating landscaping equipment and small tools such as zero-turn mowers, trimmers/weed whackers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws
  • 3+ years of pruning experience with shrubs and gardens
  • 1+ year of horticulture experience
  • Valid Ontario G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • English language proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Compensation expectations within $24–$28/hour
  • Experience landscaping for high-end homes
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Safety-focused mindset
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
  • Horticultural knowledge
  • Experience providing strong customer service
