We are seeking a skilled Data Processor to support surveying, mapping, and reality capture projects. The successful candidate will process drone, survey, and point cloud data to deliver accurate geospatial products for engineering, infrastructure, and construction projects
Responsibilities - Create layout and implantation files for construction sites.
- Read, interpret, and analyze plans, specifications, sections and profiles.
- Analyze and extract data from 3D models provided by designers or modelers.
- Process, organize, and validate data collected by Field Surveyors and remote-controlled and automated machinery.
- Produce technical deliverables, including layout and construction plans and quantity tracking, work progress tracking, technical validations, as-built drawings, etc.
- Apply knowledge of field data collection methods, including file naming conventions, point numbering systems, project point codes, identification of critical elements to be surveyed, etc.
- Provide technical support to the Chief Surveyor for complex calculation methods.
- Collaborate closely with modelers to support and fulfill technical requirements.
- Process UAV/drone survey data and generate orthomosaics, DSMs, DTMs and deliverables.
- Perform reality capture and point cloud processing using industry-standard software.
- Create and manage surfaces, alignments, corridors and models in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Process survey data, including point clouds using Trimble Business Center (TBC).
- Conduct quality control checks and maintain project documentation.
- Collaborate with survey crews, superintendents, engineers and project managers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction and/or surveying field.
- Strong understanding of construction site realities and survey operations.
- Proven experience working with technical data, calculations, and layout processes.
- Diploma or Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, GIS or related field highly reccomended.
- Strong experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC).
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Experience processing drone/UAV datasets.
- Experience with reality capture, photogrammetry and point cloud workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and data quality.

- LiDAR processing experience.
- Knowledge of GNSS, total stations and survey workflows.
- Experience with construction and infrastructure projects.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation, EBC Inc. has included the expected salary range for this role, which is
$125,000–$175,000. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity. Base salary is one component of EBC’s comprehensive total rewards offering, which may include performance-based incentives, extended health and wellness benefits, retirement savings programs, and career development opportunities.
