Summary
Reporting to the Business Solution Manager, IT Service Management within IT Services the ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for enhancing the ServiceNow platform to address the university’s need for an IT hardware asset lifecycle management process and solution.______________________

Responsibilities
- Review business requirements and determine best-fit solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Review current state of the ServiceNow Configuration (CMDB) and Asset Management Databases (AMDB) to propose and guide alignment with out-of-the-box functionality and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Review, create and update user stories to best guide the ServiceNow developer
- Review, document, guide changes to the ServiceNow platform
- Review, document and guide integrations to and from the ServiceNow platform
- Augment testing strategy and propose end-to-end tests for the CMDB / AMDB and its integrations.
- Highlight opportunities for out-of-the-box reporting and performance analytics
- Work closely with IT Asset Management Process Owner, IT Solution Architect, and Systems Developer to determine optimal solutions to proposed needs
Qualifications
oKnowledge and implementation of ServiceNow Scripting
oKnowledge and implementation of the ServiceNow ITSM Pro suite
oKnowledge and implementation of Hardware (HAM) and Software Asset management (SAM) products
oKnowledge and implementation of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
oIntegration to third party data sources such as Microsoft Intune, System Center Configuration Manager,
oServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
oServiceNow Certified Application Developer
oServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist : ITSM, HAM, SAM
oInternational Association of IT Asset Management certification
oISO / IEC 19770-1
