Job description



Purpose:
The Social Media and Marketing Assistant is responsible for creating student centric content for social media and marketing materials.

Education:
Must be enrolled as a York student.

Experience:
Previous work experience may be considered.

Skills:
- Ability to creatively write content to engage an intended audience.
- Ability to meet deadlines and organize time effectively.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to use social and digital media to effectively communicate or respond to others.
- Ability to use editing software and a variety of computer applications.
- Ability to set up and operate video, photography, and other production equipment.
- Ability to use research methods to identify and verify information.
