Assistant Store Manager

Location : Osoyoos, BC V0H 1V2

Salary : $40.00 per hour, 40 hours per week

Employment Type : Permanent, Full Time

Work Hours : Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available

Responsibilities

  • Direct and control daily operations
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Manage staff and assign duties
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Determine staffing requirements
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and / or volunteers
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff
  • Qualifications

  • Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years in roles such as restaurant, tourism, food services
  • Computer and technology knowledge : Point of sale system, Word processing software, Inventory control software, Electronic mail, MS Outlook
  • Transportation : Own transportation, willing to travel
