Under the direction of the Area Supervisor Maintenance, the incumbent is responsible for installation and maintenance of electronic/pneumatic equipment and components within Prairie Mountain Health in accordance with current applicable standards and codes. The equipment and component included but not limited to HVAC DDC, PLCs, Air Compressors and other components of the building systems. The Incumbent is also responsible for the basic design and data entry of all required information to interface the field DDC equipment with the Central System requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overview:
Troubleshoot and resolve operation and maintenance problems of complex building environmental control systems that are both pneumatic and DDC.
Install, modify, diagnose, test, repair, calibrate and operate a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and electronic equipment and associated software.
Performs troubleshooting of field DDC panels, and field data gathering panels, to ensure proper operation and reporting.
Makes backups of CCMS software on a regular basis.
Maintains documentation of field programs.
Liaison with contractors to ensure that control strategy/installation is completed to PMH standards.
Verifies with Maintenance staff correct operation of the Central System reporting, such as alarms, data integrity.
Responds to emergency calls as required.
Work with other trades to troubleshoot and repair system failures related to all aspects of the HVAC equipment and systems.
Complete preventive maintenance routines on equipment, components, and systems.
Assist with record keeping for the preventive maintenance program of the environmental control systems.
Assists in developing written procedures and documentation for CCMS and DDC systems.
Assists in preparing installation control drawings for PMH internal projects.
Maintain and update system schematics through red line system changes as necessary.
Assists in modifying as-built drawings obtained from contractors to update them for maintenance use.
Work with Capital Projects Office, contractors, Facilities Services trades, building occupants, and other clients as necessary for scheduled and planned required work.
Ensures that consideration is given to patients and staff by communicating with them when work is to be done in their areas or when services are to be interrupted.
