Job description

We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Processor for our Neepawa Branch. This is an entry level position for individuals that have no more than 2 years of experience. In this role you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments quickly and accurately, you will provide the best possible service to our customers, Parts Sales and Service Technicians.

Key accountabilites include: receive daily shipments and transfers, reconcile deliveries to invoices, enter into computerized system, watch for damages/discrepancies, resolve any shipping issues, route incoming goods to appropriate areas, assemble equipment for display, manage the process for returning goods, cores and shipping containers and maintain a clean, safe work environment.



Required Skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines, remain calm and positive in all situations
  • Familiarity with MS Office products
  • Ability to learn new system programs
  • Ability to learn how to drive a forklift
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Able to communicate clearly
  • Able to work on a rotating Saturday rotation
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs


Required Experience
  • No more than 1-2 years experience in a busy distribution centre, pick/pack/ship depot
  • Familiarity with shipping procedures pick to order, package, stage, create shipping documents for courier, mail or transport, load, execute in computer system, track shipment is an asset
  • Familiarity with receiving procedures: check to BOL, note over/short/damage, receive into system, unpack, inspect and put away accurately is an asset
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems, inventory management practices and procedures, metrics is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license and clean abstract required.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, remain calm and positive in all situations
