Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Autobody Shop Manager on behalf of our client, in Grande Prairie, AB. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of collision repair operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong technical autobody expertise, proven leadership skills, sound financial oversight, and a customer-focused mindset to deliver excellent operational results and high customer satisfaction.
  • Pay Rate: $90,000 to $110,000/year
  • Location: Grande Prairie, AB
  • Shift: Monday to Friday
  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time
Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and support autobody technicians, painters, estimators, and administrative staff
  • Manage daily workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet repair timelines and service commitments
  • Enforce quality control standards and conduct inspections to ensure repairs meet company and industry standards
  • Communicate directly with customers, provide repair estimates, and resolve questions or concerns professionally
  • Oversee inventory management, supplier relationships, and cost-effective purchasing practices
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and industry regulations
  • Manage shop budgets, control costs, and analyze performance metrics to improve profitability
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, quality, and customer experience
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 7+ years of autobody repair experience, including 4-5 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Strong technical knowledge of collision repair processes, materials, and equipment
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience using estimating software and shop management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
