Job Summary :
Provide supervision and leadership to Holder Department employees.
Key Responsibilities :
- Enforce safety requirements and maintain a hygienic work environment
- Ensure that all quality requirements are met
- Communicate with relevant other departments to ensure on-time production schedule fulfillment
- Manage given department production requirements by setting priorities, coordinating resources
- Determine and manage subcontract machining needs
- Work with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and reliability
- Train, develop, and coach all holder department employees with essential skills
- Solve problems and identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage department tooling and consumable supplies, interact with vendors
- Provide machining time estimates for new products to sales
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Must be available to work overtime
- Will be required to support after-hours emergency orders when required
- Perform additional responsibilities as required
